How To Save Time and Earn More With The Dot Deep Clean System

Step-By-Step Process

Step 1: Clear & Ventilate the Crawl Space

Remove all insulation and debris, scraping off any stuck-on material, then set up a ventilation fan pulling air out of the crawl space and shut down the HVAC to keep dust, mist, and spores from entering the living space.

Step 2: Mix Dot Extra Strength Mold Stain Remover

Estimate product needs (about 1 gallon per 100 sq ft). Put on safety goggles and chemical-resistant gloves. Add appropriate amount of water to a 5-gallon bucket, mix in Side A of packets and stir thoroughly, then Side B packets and stir thoroughly.

Step 3: Set up Dot Deep Clean Sprayer System

Depressurize and open the tank, pour in the mixed solution, secure the lid, close the pressure valve, pressurize with an air compressor to 70–90 PSI, and connect the 100 ft hose and sprayer, keeping the compressor attached throughout cleaning.

Step 4: Apply Dot On Mold Stains

Wearing full PPE (splash-resistant suit, waterproof gloves, full-face respirator), use a "spray–brush–spray" method on joists, subfloor, rim joists, and support beams: spray evenly while moving backwards. Brush to loosen soil, then apply a second spray pass for rinsing or heavy stains and allow surfaces to dry fully.

Step 5: Rinse Equipment & Clean Up

Depressurize the sprayer, empty leftover cleaner, rinse the tank twice with clean water (shaking and then repressurizing and spraying until only air comes out), let the tank air dry, wipe down hoses and sprayer, and collect and remove all trash and debris from the job site.
